Youth Ministry

The fundamental principle and goal of Youth Ministry is to help young people find and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, Youth Ministry practices social, service, spiritual and study concepts that emulate the teachings of Jesus and how they relate to us today.

St. Paul’s Parish youth ministry is open to all youth in grades 6 through 12. Our middle school group, Hope to Offer (H2O), serves teens grades 6 to 8 and meets on Wednesday at 6:30 PM.  Our high school group, Cathoholics, serves youth in grades 9 to 12 and meets on Sunday at 6 PM. We welcome all eligible youth to join us. Our weekly meetings divide our time between study, service and social activities.  Study time provides an informal setting that combines formation, reflection and discussion. Social activities are varied.

Beyond our regular weekly meetings, activities include spiritual, service and extended social outings. Our service projects include both our parish and the local community.  Our spiritual activities include youth rallies, retreats, Advent and Lenten services. Extended social outings include theme parks, historic places, concerts and overnight trips. Most recently, we experienced a mission trip in Deland, Florida where we served that local community in a variety of ways.
