All children of the parish and guests between the ages of 4 and 9 years are invited to participate in the Liturgy of the Word for children on Sundays during the 9:00 and 11:00 A.M. Masses. Liturgy of the Word for Children is a prayerful reflection on the Sunday readings geared especially for children at these age levels and is offered from September through April.

This ministry requires adults who are willing to make a commitment to the study of the Sunday readings and the preparation of a reflection for children. It also requires adults who are willing to participate in the Diocesan Catechist Certification Program.

Teens are welcome and encouraged to participate as teen leaders in this ministry.
