This is a unique organization sponsored by St. Paul’s but ecumenically involved with the Leesburg community to help individuals and families who are experiencing financial difficulties due to a sudden loss of a job, illness or other unexpected problems. Our Leesburg triplex offers two 2 bedroom apartments at a lower cost rent than surrounding apartment buildings and the income from those two apartments allows Shelter Project Hope to offer one needy family a furnished apartment for free for a period of 3 months or more. We choose families who have a reasonable chance of regaining their independence with some assistance and encouragement.  The triplex was purchased with monies from successful fundraisers.  A Board consisting of nine members manages the building.
